  • PHONE INTERVIEW, 20-30 minutes, Introductions, project overview, client’s goals, budget, review contract, determine next steps.

  • HOME CONSULTATION: 1–2 hour meeting at the client’s home to further discuss goals, assess the scope of work, take detailed measurements, photograph space, delve into the budget, collect retainer fee, the amount dependent on project size, sign contract to proceed.

  • CREATE PLANS: available 2-3 weeks after the home meeting, design computer-generated floor plans, elevations, perspectives, create cabinetry schedule, lighting plans, furniture plans, and design built-ins. 

  • MATERIAL SELECTION: Present material options, select materials.

  • ORDERING PROCESS: call/email vendors, check availability and confirm lead time for products/material, create product binder, pay in full or make deposits.

  • DETERMINE TIMELINE: schedule a home meeting with trade specialists, brief contractors on the scope of work, go over all information & special instructions, prepare timeline once product delivery lead times are known (project to begin anywhere between 2 weeks & 2 months following the home meeting).

  • DEMOLITION/ CONSTRUCTION/ INSTALLATION: with the material in place, the demo begins.

  • PUNCH LIST: Review checklist to ensure compliance with all details.

  • ACCESSORIZE:  Option to purchase staging items.

  • THE REVEAL: Photographs taken, be prepared to enjoy.
